• Maternity Care Plan/ Birth Preferences planning
• Education and preparation for labor birth, breast/chestfeeding, and early parenting.
• Support during a hospital birth if transfer of the place of birth is required.
• Referrals for regular screening, i.e. blood tests, ultrasounds
• Referrals to other health professionals
• Facilitate, advocate and support the “Golden Hour(s)” after birth.
• Post-natal care
• Breast/chestfeeding education and support.
• Birth debriefing
• 6-week postnatal visit
• Lactation Consultancy as an IBC LC
